Embracing Change
The "Embracing Change: Accept, Acknowledge, Allow" retreat is designed to help individuals navigate life transitions. Facilitated by Grief Recovery Method Specialist Rev. Therese Donlan Lee and Rev. Christy Snow, this healing journey will take place at the beautiful and serene campus of Heartlight Spiritual Center located at 7300 Mallard Creek Rd. in
Charlotte, NC. January 16-18, 2026
Retreat begins Friday at 5pm with dinner, meet & greet, and evening program
Saturday 9am-4pm (continental breakfast & lunch provided)
Sunday 11:30-3:30pm (lunch provided)

Rev. Therese Donlan Lee
Rev. Therese Donlan Lee is the Senior Minister of Hilton Head Unity. She is a dynamic leader and consultant in the Unity movement, with a passion and commitment to awakening and inspiring individuals to embrace their own divinity, she is dedicated to raising consciousness by living an engaged spiritual life through a consciousness of wisdom and compassion.
She is a grief recovery specialist and creator of the Embracing Change Retreat, helping participants learn to feel and heal by accepting that a loss has occurred, acknowledging the feelings around that loss and allowing the healing.
Rev. Therese is the co-founder of Nehemiah sacred service work retreats at Unity Village. Known as Nana-Reverend, Therese dedicates herself to working for God in honor of her, now, angel-winged husband and co-minister, Rev. Tom, along with the gift of his three children and seven grandchildren. Her mission is to Love Out Loud.
Rev. Christy Snow
Rev. Christy Snow is an ordained minister with 20+ years of experience in pulpit ministry and more than 25 years experience sharing keynote addresses, music, workshops, and retreats for New Thought centers, conferences, interfaith events, pride events, schools and universities across the US and in Canada.
A professional musician for over 35 years she integrates meditative flute music and uplifting original acoustic songs into her retreats.
Her music and teaching offer real-life anecdotes that are evocative and relatable and empower the listener to step into a greater degree of living. The accessibility in her teaching, singing, and speaking style assist others in learning how to apply life-affirming principles to their everyday life.
Her experience as a coach and retreat facilitator have honed her ability to create and maintain and loving and safe space for participants to open, release, and grow.
